Pressed And
label:
MushDolphinsConnectedness LocusProblems That Fix ThemselvesBalancing experimental samples with traditional rhythms and chords, PRESSED ANDs debut effort, Imbue Up takes elements from ambient music, pop and hip hop and manipulates them into a head-bob inducing sound that is difficult to deny. ANDREW HAMLET and MAT JONES, the two fellas who make these noises, shared their compositions with some of the most exciting up and coming and established visual artists around and have created a visual “album” to accompany the tracks from the LP. Highlighting the truly unique aspects of each track, the video tracks are an unexpected glimpse into the collaborative creative process – look for em on the interwebs. CONNECTEDNESS LOCUS’ Terraforms Artifact Album is a unique release as well – with just 100 copies in existence and coming with a booklet “of esoteric nature,” and “a unique 35mm negative.” The project of TYLER ETTERS, the tracks feature meandering loops of samples, chords and melodies, joined together to form a quirky soundtrack that could play over The Cavern of the Evil Wizard.

RSVP Policy:
For shows that use RSVPs, reservations can be sent to rsvp@emptybottle.com. All RSVPs must be received by midnight the day before the event in question. All RSVPs honored will receive an “All set!” response. If you haven’t received an “All set!” response email, you are NOT on the RSVP list.
Feel free to bring your confirmation response to the door. All RSVPs must be received individually and all emails should have the night’s show in the subject line and attendees full name in the email body.
Farmers Market:
The Empty Bottle hosts a monthly indoor Farmers Market featuring at least 12 local and organic vendors. Not limited to only produce or meat, the market also features everything from organic coffee, baked goods, and ice cream! The best part? The bar is open during the market featuring drink specials made with local ingredients! To be considered for a spot at the next market, please email Pete at production@emptybottle.com. YUM!
Street Team:
Who loves to put up posters and distribute flyers? I know
we do, and so does our street team. They are damn good at
it too. However, the time has come to add soldiers to our
illustrious volunteer force, and we think you'd be perfect
for the job. Did we mention you get to go to free shows?
Prior experience is helpful, and so is a vehicle or bike.
But don't be discouraged if you have neither, we might just
have a place for you anyhow. Interested parties should contact
Christen at christen@emptybottle.com or 773.276.3600.
Interns
The Empty Bottle is looking for you… especially if you are
looking for an internship. We would like to bring two interns
on board to work with us here in the Bottle office. Internships
run 5-20 hours per week, and cover a wide array of tasks
and responsibilities. That said, we do need responsible
and industrious folks who are interested in learning more
about the concert industry. Internships are unpaid, but
man alive, you want to talk about perks? Free shows are
just the tip of the iceberg. School credit is preferred,
but certainly not necessary. If you are interested, please
send a resume to christen@emptybottle.com or fax it to 773.276.3607.
